Windows Vista Email Setup Instructions

Click on the Start button and in the box directly above it now that reads "Start Search", type "Windows Mail" without the quotations and press the enter key on your keyboard.

Once the Windows Mail program displays click on "Tools" at the top and choose "Accounts" from the list. In the Internet Accounts list, choose "Add" and select "Email Account" and then click on "Next".

Now, enter in your "Display name:" (most people usually use a first and last name here and some choose both or even nicknames) and click "Next".

Now type in your full email address which is your username and then "" (for example: and click "Next" again.

Now select "POP3" from the drop down menu if it is not already selected. Now you will need to enter in the "Incoming" and "Outgoing" email server settings which are both the exact same thing: "" without the quotations. Put a check in the box directly under the "Outgoing" settings that reads "Outgoing server requires authentication" and click "Next".

Now, where it asks for your "E-mail username:" type in your username (your e-mail address without the "" on the end) and put your password in the "Password:" box and click "Next" again.

Click the check box that reads "Do not download my e-mail at this time" so that it is checked. You can now click on the "Finish" button at the bottom and your Windows Mail account is now complete.
