Configuring Thunderbird Authenticated SMTP
- Open Thunderbird and under the Tools menu select Account Settings...
- In the menu on the left, select Outgoing Server (SMTP) as shown below.
- Your server name should be mail.itlnet.net. Check "User user name and password" to authenticate SMTP. Fill in your user name.
- Finally, click OK and your Thunderbird should be set to operate authenticated SMTP.
