     Zinc, a silvery white metal, is used extensively in galvanized iron. Zinc
die casting is an alloy with aluminium that is used in radio and automotive
parts. Zinc oxide is an important white paint pigment, its antiseptic
properties are used in salves, and s used as a filler in the making of tire
rubber. Zinc oxide and concentrated hydrocloric acid sets as a hard cement
used in dentistry work. Zinc present in the pancreas may aid in the storage of
insulin.
