The goal of the Elk City Aikido Club is to
promote education and training in Aikido to residents
of western Oklahoma. All dues collected will be used
for monthly expenses and purchasing new equipment.
Dues are $35 per month (additional family members
at a discounted price) and are due at the beginning
of every month. There are no long-term contracts to
sign and the first few lessons are free.
When you attend your first class you will need
to sign a short release form. Bring some comfortable
work-out clothes (like sweats and a t-shirt) and you'll
be ready to go.
In addition to the monthly fees, there is an annual $45 membership fee. This money goes to the Fugakukai, the national organization responsible for accreditation and promotions. There is also a fee associated with promotions.
The Elk City Aikido Club is a satellite school of the Windsong Dojo. The instructor is Paul Firth. He is a second degree black belt in Aikido. He has trained at Windsong since 1993.
